As an experienced distributor, Johnson Petfoods possesses extensive in-house expertise in high-quality dog- and cat food. Yet, despite the high-quality brands we already carried in our range, we were missing an ultra-premium brand that fully aligned with our vision. That’s why we decided to take the plunge and launch our own dog and cat food brand in 2017. That, in a nutshell, is how the Riverwood brand came to be.

 Riverwood’s natural dog and cat food is characterized by its high meat content from three unique protein sources and its grain- and gluten-free formula. In addition, our food also contains the necessary vegetables, fruits, and herbs.​

Is your dog allergic to beef, chicken, or pork? Riverwood has you covered. All of our hypoallergenic dry food is formulated with three unique protein sources. ​

And of course, we haven’t forgotten about the real foodies. Our delicious wet food—which is also hypoallergenic—contains a meat content of no less than 70%.

Oh, and good to know: our wet food is suitable as both a complete and a supplemental meal for adult dogs. This does not apply to puppies, however; Riverwood wet food should only be given to your puppy as a supplemental meal.
